The debate on the results of development cooperation has been ongoing for some time. Following a critical examination of bilateral governmental development cooperation, the work of Non-governmental Organisations and the Churches has been subject to increasing critical attention and analytical scrutiny in the public sphere. This is one reason why MISEREOR has taken up the theme with renewed vigour and entered whole-heartedly into the corresponding dialogue both in-house and with partners and professionals in this field.
